The first-ever BetMGM Poker Championship will be held at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, according to BetMGM, a leading iGaming and sports betting company based in New Jersey. The No-Limit Hold'em tournament will begin on June 23 and end on June 26 with a $3,500 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million. The tournament will be part of the highly anticipated ARIA Poker Classic in 2022.

Daily Qualifiers and Weekly Satellites

A minimum of 15 players from each of the 15 live poker markets currently available in the country will receive prize packages from BetMGM Poker. Each package will include a No-Limit Hold'em championship buy-in and will be delivered at the conclusion of daily qualifying and weekly satellites. Winners will also receive complimentary accommodations for five nights at the ARIA resort, as well as reimbursement for all travel fees as part of the same package.

On June 25, players will have the opportunity to purchase a $600 entry into the BetMGM Poker Mystery Bounty. This will be the first time the ARIA Resort & Casino hosts a modern live poker knockout tournament.

The Inaugural BetMGM Poker Championship in Las Vegas has arrived at the perfect time

The event will take place "at one of the most exciting moments of the poker season," according to BetMGM's director of poker Luke Staudenmaier. Staudenmaier also referred to ARIA as a "famous poker brand" and voiced ARIA's delight at the prospect of their Championship being included in the 2022 Poker Classic.

BetMGM intends to gain additional access to such events in the future thanks to its close links with MGM Resorts' state-of-the-art land and online gaming and sports betting locations across the country. The organization also intends to strengthen its current online and offline poker players' relationships while expanding into new markets.

BetMGM makes responsible gaming a top priority

The operator prioritizes responsible gambling through a variety of initiatives, including as the dedicated MGM Resorts and BetMGM campaign, which received backing from the National Council on Problem Gambling. GameSense, a program designed and licensed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, is one of the company's valuable responsible gaming resources and efforts. MGM Resorts offers the program, which includes useful tools on both the desktop and mobile platforms of BetMGM.

BetMGM also participated in the Problem Gambling Awareness Month in March. In 2022, the company intends to keep its investments running, achieving and exceeding the planned 53 percent net revenue growth.

BetMGM is a 50/50 joint venture between MGM Resorts and BetMGM, which owns BetMGM, Party Casino, Party Poker, and Borgata Casino, among other online gambling and sports betting brands. MGM Resorts owns 32 hotels and casinos across the world, and it is currently looking to expand into Asia with an integrated resort in Japan. The organization is dedicated to making a bigger difference in the lives of its employees and guests while also working to create a more sustainable future.
